Error 011- Cannot connect to roku




I you are getting “Error Code 011” during setup.
Follow theses steps?
If you are trying to set up your Roku player and you see a roku error Code 011 error, this means the Roku player briefly lost network to the Roku upgrade server.
There may be a opportunity that Roku servers are not readily available due to a planned maintenance.  When this happens, try again after a short interval of time.
Then just execute a Power cycle of the Roku player with the guidelines below.  You should be able to proceed where you left off.


To solve this, you can also do the following:
Power cycle the Roku player by eliminating the power connector from the back of the Roku player.
Wait 30 seconds, then reconnect the power.
Wait for the player to reboot, then observe the on-screen guidelines.

Network Power cycle – If power cycling the Roku player did not solve the error then a network power cycle might.
To do this turn off the following gadgets – Roku player, Wi-fi, Router/Modem
Wait 30 secs then reconnect the power connections in this order, waiting 1 minute between each system to allow it to fully boot.
Follow the on-screen guidelines from the Roku player and TV.

Factory Reset –If none of the above actions worked then a totally reset of the Roku player may be needed.
To reset the Roku player:
Find the reset button.
Click and hold the reset button for 30 seconds then release.
The Roku player will then restart.
